Last time, I went through a brief explanation of Windows Server and basic active directory setup.

 

I couldn't register my domain because I had a Windows HOME environment last time.

So, Windows 10 Pro was installed separately.

 

Look at the picture below, the RedteamTester02 is general account in the client. 

 

 

To register a general account in the domain, it is necessary to change the network settings.

 

Access the Ethernet settings and enter the windows server IP in the DNS field.

 

And, the dns setting in the server that blinked last time and could not be set is proceeded. 

 

You can also double-check with the ping command to see if the domain registration is correct.

 

After that, it tries to register the domain by accessing the user registration information.



In the credential field of the screen above, enter the DC account you created last time.

 

If you enter the correct information, the following message box is displayed.

 

After restarting, if the connection to the DC account is successful, the output is displayed as the domain\DC accounts as follows.

 

Next time, I will go through the permissions of Active Directory and fill out a checklist to run a Redteam simulation.
